# Synthetic teaching example — not blockchain data `example.json` was written for this tutorial. It was not downloaded from a provider. Its account identifiers, signatures, slots, balances and instructions are teaching placeholders, not evidence of real transactions or ownership. The second observation is deliberately inconsistent. Do not send funds to any example address. This example does not establish coverage of real protocols. Use this explicit wallet for the example only: `11111111111111111111111111111112` ## Run after checking and installing the versioned package ```sh npx --no-install z7on-inspect --input example.json --wallet 11111111111111111111111111111112 --out example-report ``` The parent directory must already exist; `example-report` must not exist. Open `example-report/report.html`. No server or internet connection is required. To reproduce the report, keep its accompanying input and manifest together: ```sh npx --no-install z7on-inspect --input example-report/manifest.json --wallet 11111111111111111111111111111112 --out example-replayed ``` ## Expected evidence, computed directly from the supplied fields All values below are **lamports** (1 SOL = 1,000,000,000 lamports), not dollars. | Check | First observation | Second observation | | --- | ---: | ---: | | Instruction transfer from wallet to recipient | 100000000 | 100000000 | | Network fee recorded by `meta.fee` | 5000 | 5000 | | Fee payer | Account ending `13` | Account ending `13` | | Network fee charged to analyzed wallet | 0 | 0 | | Wallet pre-balance | 1000000000 | 900000000 | | Wallet post-balance | 900000000 | 810000000 | | Observed wallet change (post − pre) | -100000000 | -90000000 | | Explained wallet change (transfer + wallet fee) | -100000000 | -100000000 | | Unexplained difference (observed − explained) | 0 | 10000000 | ### First observation: sponsored fee The first account is the fee payer, ending `13`; the analyzed wallet ends `12`. The payer's supplied balance falls by 5000 lamports. The analyzed wallet sends 100000000 lamports (0.1 SOL), without also paying that network fee. The recognized movement matches its supplied balance change. Evidence points to outer instruction 0 and the corresponding balance entries. ### Second observation: deliberate difference The instruction again says 100000000 lamports left the wallet, but its supplied balances decrease by only 90000000. Therefore 10000000 lamports (0.01 SOL) are unexplained. This is an inconsistency to investigate, **not a proven incoming transfer, rebate, profit or fee correction**. The inspector must not invent a movement to make the balance reconcile. ## Successful processing is not complete reconciliation Both observations should be retained in the output. The first balance check matches; the second has `unexplained_balance_change`. Both remain user-supplied, unauthenticated evidence, with unknown finality and incomplete history. The sample's reconciliation remains blocked and PnL/ROI stay unavailable. Supplied slot values do not certify order or authenticity. For your own inspection replace both the input file and the explicit wallet. Use a saved `getTransaction` response with `jsonParsed` encoding from a provider you already use. An address or signature alone does not download anything. Never include API keys, private keys, seed phrases or provider credentials. ## Sharing Copyright 2026 Z7ON LABS.
